A Full Day

Nurse Geraldine, in her hazardous material suit, hooking Don up to his second and final infusion of "high-dose" chemo.
Sami had a day of activities outside of the hospital, a belated Christmas party, a dentist appointment and a uke jam session, as well as a trip home to feed the cats and do laundry. Don met with various worker-bees at the hospital. When we were together we played around with ukuleles and walked the halls. Tomorrow, Don has a day of rest and we will probably go home for a few hours. Yea! Then, in the next few days Don will be visited by all of the side effects of a low white blood count and the heavy-duty chemo (not-so-yea). But, if that is what it takes to get this over with - bring it ON.

Good night one and all.
